General Counsel. Jennie Park serves as corporate counsel to common interest developments, including residential, mixed-used developments, condominiums and planned unit developments of all sizes throughout California. She works directly with boards of directors and managers in all matters involving common interest development law, including drafting and enforcement of governing documents, corporate governance and compliance, elections, assessment collection, contract review and negotiation and member discipline.
Prior Experience. Jennie previously served as general counsel and legal consultant to commercial real estate businesses and start-up companies, advising clients on various issues including their legal rights, risks and responsibilities, contract analysis, employment relations and compliance issues. Her experience includes litigation, focused primarily on the defense of healthcare providers in medical malpractice suits and administrative board proceedings. She is well-versed in all phases of litigation, from initial case evaluation through discovery, law and motion, and preparation for trial or alternative dispute resolution.
Conflict Resolution. In her legal career, Jennie has also gained conflict resolution experience from having served as a neutral conciliator at a high-volume public interest clinic. Her stint in the United States Army Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps armed her with a keen ability to work with and counsel people from all different walks of life, from civilians to military personnel of all levels in the chain of command.
